The Augusta Mall in Georgia has been closed after gunshots were fired inside.
Police were called at 1:43pm on Sunday following the incident, according to the Richmond County Dispatch. It's unclear if there have been any injuries.
The sheriff's office said: '[The] investigation is in its early stages and there is no additional information available at this time.'
Dozens of police and ambulance vehicles were seen swooping on the mall.
According to people inside speaking to the Augusta Chronicle, employees and shoppers in Dillard's took cover behind counters and inside bathrooms.
